It seems the Autobots and Decepticons will never cease to be at war with each other. The fight has been covered through limitless animated series, movies, & video games, but this time it is being brought to fans in a whole new way.Transformers Universe is an upcoming browser-based, massively-multiplayer online game from developer Jagex Games Studio. While tiny is known about the specifics of gameplay, Transformers Universe will allows players to generate their own transforming robots, fighting for either the Autobots or Decepticons in a never-ending struggle.

It's been announced that the game will revolve around team-based actions, & will be strictly player-versus-player. Players will also have access to different character classes & customization options. Transformers Universe will be free-to-play, though it is unknown if the game will feature micro-transactions.

No release date has been announced, but game enthusiasts can register for beta access through the game's official net site, which launched today. Jagex Games Studio focuses on browser-based gambling, & is most well-known for their MMORPG RuneScape, which holds the title of being the largest free-to-play MMORPG.
