Jagex CEO Mark Gerhard is joining the line-up for this year's Edinburgh Interactive.

According to MCV, Gerhard is set to discuss "The Multiplayer Revolution", in which he'll describe why the industry needs to play catch-up in meeting gamers' multiplayer needs. It's will good for the Sell RS gold industry .

"The gaming landscape is evolving at such a pace that developers have to move quickly to keep up with player’s expectations," said Gerhard. "In the session I will be sharing my view that multiplayer online games hold the key to the future of the industry, and give my analysis of how we as a company have adapted to stay ahead of the pack."

Jagex is the developer behind the popular free-to-play browser MMO RuneScape, which recently launched its latest expansion.

Edinburgh Interactive will run from August 11 to August 12 at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Edinburgh.
