RuneScape players, if lucky, can receive over 50 of an item via skilling per hour. With that being said, it will take at least 20-40 hours obtaining the items strictly through skilling.

As the special runs for ten days, RuneScape players need to average 200 units won or found per day.

As RuneScape members receive 3-4 spins per day counting the spin from the daily task, it is reasonable to win 50 or even 100 of the resources from that, with luck.

Therefore, RuneScape players will need to spend several hours daily skilling for the items. Since the crown of seasons is worth about 20 million, the resources are worth approximately 10k each.

Should the RuneScape player not get 2,000 total resources, and thus not be able to trade for the ones to make a crown, all the resources gathered will go to waste.
